Happy Saturday!
I’m in full organization mode to go away for the Fourth. I haven’t left the tri-state for the Fourth of July in years. I am very excited to say the least. So, today I thought I would share some pre Fourth of July refreshes on my mind this week.
I have been seeing so many great summer tabletop books! This is a great way to switch up your space easily, I need to rotate my coffee table set up much more frequently. These are all great (generous) host gifts, or housewarming gifts for a new weekend house:
I love this cover, though I’ll never surf.
This book is so over the top but beyond fabulous for any Bond lover, especially men. Plus, great dinner conversation kickoff since Amazon is officially taking over the film franchise.
I love anything Bruce Weber, and one of my favorites, The Golden Retriever Society, is really too inappropriate to gift. This looks like a great new option for my own home, at least ;)
This is a great nautical book for a house by the beach, and I love the unusual cover.
It’s always a good idea to consider new beach towels. I know my mom still has ours from 25 years ago for sentiment. Anything Weezie is great, and I love the unusual pattern/color palette of the Fig print. So chic.
This is a classic option from RL that doubles as a picnic blanket. Love.
Speaking of, this cooler is beyond extra and so cute. Extra points for flair.
While we’re there, I do love a classic flag sweater. I’m a little shocked how many people are coming out with their own, extremely close to RL versions. I’m a loyalist as we all know. I love this shake up to the men’s one this year, and a sweater like this should be bigger anyways. Not a girl who likes princess seams in a white button down here. This + my charm bracelet and a martini is exactly what I want the Fourth to look like this year.
I have been eyeing these Japanese gardening totes as an upgrade for years. They are very hard to find in the US, but feel so “I’m in my 30s and I have my sh*t together” to me. This is a slight tweak, and this navy option is great too.
I need some new easy espadrilles, and this stripe or these solid red ones are so perfect for the Fourth/summer.
These slides are very 90s but I kind of love them, every color. These scream running to the pool to me. Like an update to those monogrammed Jacks from the old days.
I also am feeling like buying into belts for my Sylvies and white jeans. This braided one or this raffia one from J. Crew would mix so well with anything.
Have a great weekend prepping!
xx

Do you have any brands or sets you love for crisp looking poplin pajama sets? Or pajamas in general. I’ve tried jcrew (bad) and lake (weird sizing). I hear schostal is great but never tried
