Happy Saturday everyone! What a fun filled week it has been. We’re so excited to launch our Spring 2024 collection, now available to shop on the site!
This collection was inspired by all the feedback we’ve been receiving from you over the past few months in our design Q&A’s. While I believe our sweet spot is cocktail and special occasion clothes, you very much also want more daywear from us! Pieces that can be worn to the farmer’s market or to a casual dinner in the neighborhood.
We had so much fun shooting our new pieces around some of my favorite places in New York. Up first, our very new Reese skirt. I’ve wanted to design a really simple under the knee A-line skirt for quite some time. Yes, it is inspired by a skirt she wears in Sweet Home Alabama. You can wear her with a t-shirt, a striped sweater or any collared shirt you have lying around. We went to Eataly in Flatiron this week to pick up pasta for a very special birthday dinner coming up. And of course, she has pockets!
Up next is our brand new Perry shift dress. I’m especially excited for this one. She’s longer than our Louise/Lizzy shifts and has all kinds of intricate seaming. We were inspired to design a dress that has a men’s classic band collar shirt front. The pleats are stitched down the front and hard pressed in place so they’ll never move. When you cut Perry in a print, all the pattern pieces chop up the print repeat in a really fun way. It’s a simple and smart silhouette that can be worn a million ways. We’re offering her in three prints, Devonshire Floral, Trianon Floral and our new MM Cherry Print.
Lastly, we brought our Sylvie dress back in our new Cherry print. It’s hard to believe we first sold our shirtdress in Summer 2020! We tested this print out in a Lizzy shift and the response was extremely positive. Sylvie is our most comfortable, full coverage style. She’s one of the few dresses we make that I’ll work in all day and stay in at night. Pockets as well:)
I hope you love the new collection as much as we do. Please send us an email hello@mollymoorkamp.com or shoot us a DM if you have any questions:)
Happy Saturday,
MM
