Happy Saturday!
I’m excited to finally welcome our Daphne web stock to the site today! Two deep, wintry, delicious colors we haven’t offered previously. I’m realizing January is the perfect time for Daphne web stock. With ever warming winters and Italy just beginning to open up again after Christmas for new yarns to be spun mid January. I hope you enjoy our most classic sweater this winter!
WITH that said, as we are now firmly in the 5th year of MM, and after chatting with many of you over on instagram about 2024, what I’m REALLY excited for is the vision finally coming together for our spring/warm weather 2024 sweaters. My main takeaways? Shaking up the “weight” or gauge. Not totally out-of-left-field new styles, but tweaks and updates that just make perfect sense. Simplified and easy to pair. Truly easy to WEAR truly all year round. And it’s time we bid adieu for a moment from my favorite Navy. Black is back for neutral sweaters!
When we first moved to cotton sweaters, I was convinced they had to be the EXACT weight of our previous wool sweaters. And those were, and are, great! But we’ve sold that weight of sweaters for about 3 years now and it’s time for a switch up. The sweater we get surprised rave comments about the most, hands down, is Augusta. It seems deceptively simple on a web flat image, but when you get it in your hands and feel the weight, it’s simply addicting. You can anticipate a lot more knitwear closer than further to that gauge in 2024, and I can’t wait!
What new sweaters are you craving this year? I’m dreaming of chilly beach nights sporting both old and new MM sweaters.
Happy Weekend!
P.S. - if you didn’t see on instagram, our team finally got around to updating the Custom page of our website (it hadn’t been updated since 2019, and I think we can all agree a lot has changed since then!) this week. It reflects our current process/abilities with a lot more information, so please take a look if you haven’t yet! It’s that time of year to start thinking about special Summer looks, if you have the occasion ;)
