Happy Saturday everyone! This morning I’m bringing you a love letter dedicated to our MM pashminas. It feels like the perfect kickoff to a happy, healthy new year.
We’ve launched five new colors and they’re available to order all week! Before we developed our own almost two years ago, I was really not a pashmina person to be honest. The XL Hermes are lovely, but weren’t in my 20’s shopping budget.
The key to an elegant pashmina is the size. They have to be generous. It’s truly sad to see a pashmina that can barely drape over both shoulders. We surveyed every pashmina on the market, made significant upgrades and launched our own.
The cotton silk blend is a dream. They barely wrinkle. They don’t pill on your clothes. If you’ve ever worn a crisp white button down under a pilly sweater or cashmere pashmina, you know what I mean. I wear them on every flight. They accompany me to every wedding. It’s truly the number one product we make that can be useful each day of the year.
I find I reach for our pashminas indoors even more than outdoor. How is every restaurant, office and venue freezing cold all year long? I always used to keep at least two draped on the back of my chair at my corporate design job. Comes in handy during the chilliest of days! Happy Shopping x
Here are a few bits and bobs from my view this week.
Our launch of cocktail napkins has inspired me to be a little more adventurous with glasswear. While I skipped the colored wine glass trend, I love these quirky little shapes for martinis or champagne.
These martini pitchers are my go-to housewarming gifts for local friends. I’m going to pull the trigger and purchase one for myself to pair with the above glasses. If you’re in the tri-state area, I encourage a trip to Bergdorf. They have a much larger selection in store.
I’m pairing my new purchases with a springy radish salad. I had lunch at San Vincente Bungalows last year and they offer watermelon radishes, cucumbers and carrots on ice with green goddess as a complementary appetizer. It was a great touch. I love this old BA recipe as a change up from my daily kale caesar.
Well now I’m just planning my next “I wish it was spring” dinner party. Love this tablecloth. I’ll sew my own that’s larger but I love the combination of the deep avocado with light pink.
Have a great weekend everyone!
I love the martini pitcher wedding gift suggestion! I'm out of the wedding circuit and have two nieces getting married this year. Any other go to gift ideas?
